عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قرأ حم الدخان في ليلة الجمعة غفر له (سنن الترمذي، الرقم: 2889)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu 'anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) said, “The one who recites Surah Haa Meem Dukhaan on the night of Jumu’ah (i.e. Thursday night), his (minor) sins will be forgiven.”

Note:

Surah Dukhaan is the forty-fourth surah in the Qur’aan Majeed and appears in the 25th para/juz. In the 13-line copies of the Qur’aan Majeed, Surah Dukhaan can be found on page 686. The surah is approximately four pages long and can thus be comfortably recited in a short period of time.

In another Hadith, Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) mentioned, “The one who recites Surah Dukhaan at night, seventy thousand angels will make dua for his forgiveness until the morning.” (Sunan Tirmizi #2888)

From this Hadith, we understand that there is great virtue for reciting Surah Dukhaan every night – not only on the night of Jumu’ah.
