عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يا أبا هريرة إذا توضأت فقل بسم الله والحمد لله فإن حفظتك لا تبرح تكتب لك الحسنات حتى تحدث من ذلك الوضوء (مجمع الزوائد #1112)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “O Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu ‘anhu)! When you perform wudhu, then (first) recite Bismillah Walhamdulillah, for indeed the angels which protect you continue recording good deeds for you until you break that wudhu.”
