2. Being Blessed with the Shade of the Arsh of Allah Ta‘ala Ta‘ala
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Whoever gives respite to a poor person or waives his debt, Allah Ta‘ala will grant him shade on the Day of Qiyaamah in the shade of His Arsh, on the day when there will be no shade besides His shade.” [2]
3. Acquiring the Dua of Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)
Hazrat Jaabir bin Abdillah (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reports that Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) once made the following dua, “May Allah have mercy on the person who is lenient (and considerate) when he sells, purchases and when he claims money owed to him (i.e. in his business dealings, he is not harsh and inconsiderate, rather he is polite and considerate when his debtor is unable to fulfil the debt).” [3]
4. Duas Answered and Difficulties Alleviated
Hazrat Ibnu Umar (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “The one who wishes that his duas be answered, and his difficulties be alleviated, then he should assist the one who is in financial difficulty (through giving him respite or overlooking the debt).” [4]
