Sheikh Ahmed Muhammed Sufi (rahimahullah) says:

Once, I wandered around the desert for about thirteen months, suffering such great hunger and thirst that my skin dried out. In that condition of need, I reached Madinah Munawwarah.

On arriving in Madinah Munawwarah, I first greeted Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) and his two companions, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddeeq (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) and Hazrat Umar (radhiyallahu ‘anhu). Afterwards, I fell asleep.

In my dream, I saw Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). He said to me, “O Ahmed, you have come to me.” I replied, “Yes, I have come, and I am suffering from hunger. Now, I am your guest.” Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Open your two hands.” I did as I was told and Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) filled them with dirhams.

When I awoke, both my hands were still filled with money. From there, I immediately rose to buy bread and faloodah (a type of sweet dish), and then returned to the desert.
