I asked the people who this person (making the announcement) was and they replied that this was ‘Abdul Muttalib. He had just sent his grandson, Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), in search of a lost camel. He had sent his grandson to retrieve the lost camel because no matter what task he would send him on, he definitely returned successful. On this latest errand, the young boy was taking longer than usual. That is why ‘Abdul Muttalib was anxious and reciting these couplets. Soon thereafter, Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) returned with the lost camel. The moment ‘Abdul Muttalib caught sight of him, he embraced him saying, “Son! I was extremely worried about you. Now I will never allow you to part from me.”
