While at the mihraab, he fell asleep, but then suddenly awoke and went towards the blessed grave of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). After going to the blessed grave of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), he returned towards us with a smile on his face. Observing his smile, Shamsuddeen Sawaab, who was one of the attendants of the Rowdhah Mubaarak, addressed him and asked, “What has caused you to smile?”
Being Blessed with Milk from Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)
Written by user2Sheikh Abu Abdillah, Muhammed bin Abil Yamaan (rahimahullah), reports the following incident:
On one occasion, I was in the blessed city of Madinah Munawwarah. While in Madinah Munawwarah, I went to the musjid of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). I stood at a place near the mihraab. (This was the place where the home of Hazrat Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha) used to be, next to the home of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), during the time of Rasulullah (sallallahu‘alaihiwasallam), and was thereafter included in the musjid.) At that time, a noble man named Mukthir Al-Qaasimi was also behind the same mihraab.
He replied, “I was suffering from starvation. In this condition, I left my home and came here, to the place of the home of Hazrat Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha), and came before the blessed grave of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). I sought assistance from him saying, ‘O Rasul of Allah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)! I am suffering from hunger!’ I then fell asleep and saw Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) in my dream. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) gave me a utensil filled with milk, and I drank from it until I was satiated.”
Sheikh Abu Abdillah then said, “Here is some of the milk which Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) gave to me.” Saying that, he took my hand and spat some of the milk out into my palm. Hence, we all witnessed and saw the milk which Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) had given to him.
