After this group of Sahaabah performed hijrah, a procession of other Sahaabah followed. Among them were the following Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum) who also performed hijrah to Madinah Munawwarah:
Hazrat Talhah bin Ubaidillah, Hazrat Suhaib bin Sinaan, Hazrat Hamzah bin Abdil Muttalib, Hazrat Zaid bin Haarithah, Hazrat Abu Marthad Kannaaz bin Hisn, Hazrat Anasah, Hazrat Abu Kabshah, Hazrat Ubaidah bin Haarith and his two brothers, Hazrat Tufail bin Haarith and Hazrat Husain bin Haarith, Hazrat Mistah bin Athaathah, Hazrat Suwait bin Sa’d, Hazrat Tulaib bin Umair, Hazrat Khabbaab bin Aratt, Hazrat Abdur Rahmaan bin Awf, Hazrat Zubair bin Awwaam, Hazrat Abu Sabrah bin Abi Ruhm, Hazrat Mus’ab bin Umair, Hazrat Abu Huzaifah bin Utbah, Hazrat Saalim, the emancipated slave of Hazrat Abu Huzaifah, Hazrat Utbah bin Ghazwaan and Hazrat Uthmaan bin Affaan (radhiyallahu ‘anhum). In short, all the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum), one after the other, gradually performed hijrah and migrated to Madinah Munawwarah.
In Makkah Mukarramah, only Hazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) and Hazrat Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) now remained with Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). Besides them, there were just a few helpless and defenceless Muslims, trapped in the brutal clutches of the disbelievers, who still remained behind in Makkah.
