عن أنس بن مالك أن نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: لكل نبي دعوة دعاها لأمته وإني اختبأت دعوتي شفاعة لأمتي يوم القيامة (صحيح مسلم الرقم: 200)

Hazrat Anas (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Every Nabi was blessed by Allah Ta‘ala with a special du‘aa which was guaranteed acceptance. Every Nabi made his du‘aa in this world for his ummah, and I wish to reserve my special du‘aa for the Day of Qiyaamah so that I may intercede to Allah Ta‘ala on behalf of my entire ummah.”
