عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم البسوا من ثيابكم البياض فإنها خير ثيابكم وكفنوا فيها موتاكم (سنن الترمذي #994)

Hazrat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbaas (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Wear white clothing, as it is the best of your clothing, and enshroud in it your deceased.”
