عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال من قال اللهم صل على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما صليت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم وبارك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما باركت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم وترحم على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما ترحمت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم شهدت له يوم القيامة بشهادة وشفعت له بشفاعة أخرجه البخاري في الأدب المفرد وأبو جعفر الطبري في تهذيبه والعقيلي (القول البديع ص112)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Whoever recites the following (durood), I will bear testimony on his behalf on the Day of Qiyaamah and I will intercede for him.”

اَلَّلهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَتَرَحَّمْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا تَرَحَّمْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ

O Allah! Send salutations upon Nabi Muhammed (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) and the family of Nabi Muhammed (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), as You have sent salutations upon Nabi Ebrahim (‘alaihis salaam) and the family of Nabi Ebrahim (‘alaihis salaam), and shower blessings upon Nabi Muhammed (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) and the family of Nabi Muhammed (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), as You have showered blessings upon Nabi Ebrahim (‘alaihis salaam) and the family of Nabi Ebrahim (‘alaihis salaam), and shower mercy upon Nabi Muhammed (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) and the family of Nabi Muhammed (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), as You have showered mercy upon Nabi Ebrahim (‘alaihis salaam) and the family of Nabi Ebrahim (‘alaihis salaam).
