3. Among the famous divine books that were revealed by Allah Ta‘ala are the following four books; the Tauraah which was revealed to Nabi Moosa (‘alaihis salaam), the Injeel which was revealed to Nabi Isa (‘alaihis salaam), the Zaboor which was revealed to Nabi Dawood (‘alaihis salaam), and the Quraan Majeed which was revealed to Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam). ^[1]

4. Nabi Ebrahim (‘alaihis salaam) received his scriptures on the first of the month of Ramadhaan. Nabi Moosa (‘alaihis salaam) received the Tauraah on the sixth of Ramadhaan. Nabi Isa (‘alaihis salaam) received the Injeel on the thirteenth of Ramadhaan. Nabi Dawood (‘alaihis salaam) received the Zaboor on the twelfth or eighteenth of Ramadhaan. The Quraan Majeed was sent down from the Lowh-e-Mahfooz to the first heaven on the twenty-fourth of Ramadhaan. Thereafter, the entire Quraan Majeed was revealed upon Hazrat Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) over a period of 23 years. ^[2]
