Initiate Good, not Evil
Hazrat Jareer bin ‘Abdillah (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Whoever initiates a good practice and he is then followed by others in this practice, then he will receive his own reward (for practicing on this action) as well as the rewards of those who followed him, without their rewards being decreased in the least. And whoever initiates an evil practice and is then followed by others in this practice, then he will bear his own sin (for committing this evil) as well as the sin of those who followed him, without their burdens (of sin) being decreased in the least.”
