عن أبي الدرداء قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول ما من ثلاثة في قرية ولا بدو لا تقام فيهم الصلاة إلا قد استحوذ عليهم الشيطان فعليك بالجماعة فإنما يأكل الذئب القاصية قال زائدة قال السائب يعني بالجماعة الصلاة في الجماعة (سنن أبي داود #547)

Hazrat Abu Dardaa’ (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) narrates, “I heard Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) mentioning, ‘Three people who live together in a village or a desert, and do not perform salaah with jamaat, (will be such that) certainly Shaitaan will gain control over them. Thus hold fast to performing salaah with jamaat, as the wolf only consumes the animal which has become distant (from the flock).’”
